BookMarx

Bookmarx, a used and new bookstore in downtown Springfield, Missouri, boasts an impressive number of cats per square foot, surpassing any other store in the 417 Area. The store's owner, Joshua Arnett, brings a wealth of experience, having worked for 8 years at Book Castle before starting Bookmarx.

Joshua Arnett also taught English as a second language for close to a decade, and he now co-owns the store with his wife Harvey Day-Arnett, whom he married in the bookstore. This personal touch has become an integral part of the store's history.

Notable events have included a 10-year anniversary party, a Black and White Ball, and the opening of a video rental store. The event space, The Footnote, hosts author events, book clubs, and theatrical productions, making it a hub of literary activity.

After expanding into the space next door, the store has doubled in size, allowing for more features and services to be added. Bookmarx can be contacted by email or phone, and the store is found at 325 East Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806.
